Plate is generally available in 5' x 10' (60" x 120") sheets.

When ordering plate, the following parameters need to be identified.

• Base Thickness
  1/8”, 3/16”, 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16”, & 11/16”
  
  NOTE: Generally when ordering plate, we recommend that the base thickness is greater than or equal to the overly thickness.
• Overlay Thickness and Number of Passes
  
  1. 1 Pass 1/8”, 3/16”, or 1/4”
  2. 2 Pass 1/4” or 5/16”
  3. 3 Pass 7/16”
  4. 4 Pass 9/16”
  5. 5 Pass 11/16”
     
     
• Material
  
  1. MK3
     1. Good abrasion, good impact
  2. MK5
     1. Best abrasion, marginal impact

The chart below outlines the part numbering scheme used by RPM and Associates to identify a given plate configuration.

The figure below gives an example of relationship between base thickness, overlay thickness, and number of passes when determining the final dimension of the overlay plate.
